Our 8 suites have been lovingly restored to the highest standard. Each bedroom has its own unique character equipped with modern facilities and WiFi.

Accomodating up to 21 people, Chateau de Bois Rigaud includes 7 bedrooms and a small separate villa. Two complementary dormitory rooms can lodge an additional 20 guests.

Château de Bois Rigaud also offers glamping accommodation for up to 4 guests in our private wood.

We are also lucky enough to have a lot of great accommodation providers in the area for guests who want to stay nearby.

How to get here?

The closest airports are Clermont-Ferrand (45 minutes by car) and Lyon (2 hours and 20 minutes by car). Limoges airport is 3 hours away by car. There are also connecting flights via Paris to Clermont-Ferrand from many destinations.

There are several trains per day from Paris to Clermont-Ferrand (the journey time is approximately 3hrs). Local trains connect Clermont-Ferrand to Issoire (20 minutes from the Chateau). Usson (63490) is our local village. You can find Bois Rigaud on most GPS systems.

Château de Bois Rigaud in the South of France is located :

3 hours and 30 minutes away from Paris by train;
5 hours away from Bordeaux by car;
3 hours and 30 minutes away from Burgundy by car.

A stunning rustic barn in France
More than one year ago, we started looking for wedding venue in the South of France for our special day. We visited many chateaux across France such as Château Challain near Paris and the château d'Aleny in Burgundy. We also organized a viewing of château de Bouffémont near Paris and of Château du Bijou in Provence.
It took us some time to find the ideal place for our wedding day. We finally picked Château de Bois Rigaud in the Auvergne region because of its ideal location in the heart of France, not too far from Paris, Bordeaux and Haux.
